About
I'm a Reader in Politics at the University of Southampton. Most of my current work focuses on theories of, and issues to do with, global justice. I'm particularly interested in explaining and defending global egalitarianism as an approach to global justice.
My introductory book on Global Distributive Justice has just come out with Cambridge University Press (January 2012). I'm also working on arguments about the just distribution of rights over natural resources, and in (disputing) arguments for national control over resources.
I'm a member of the Centre for Citizenship, Globalization and Governance here at the University of Southampton.
