About
My research career has focussed on all aspects of environmental management and governance from developing novel decision support tools for coastal management as part of my PhD work; to exploring the trickle down effects of international conventions, and the relative roles of the state, firms and individuals in disaster management. My current focus is on understanding the role of institutions in enabling or constraining social, structural and individual behavioural change in relation to weather hazards and climate change. I am about to start work on a project looking at the co-benefits from taking action on adapting to climate change and mitigating climate change.
