About
Basically i am a Remote Sensing and GIS modelling person. I have been working at various scientific designations in Indian Space Research Organisation (at IIRS, Dehradun) before moving to UK. I worked in the area of quantifying landscape structure, spatio-temporal modelling in the forestry and urban applications, mainly using various geocomputational techniques.
I worked on 2 main research areas in UK with Prof. Peter M. Atkinson. First One is downscaling satellite remote sensing derivatives using two-point and multi-point geostatistical techniques. Second one is Phenology Modelling using satellite derived Chlorophyll Information (MTCI) and NDVI.
I am a well versed geo-spatial programmer. Possess practical experience in programming using ArcObjects, VBA in ARCMAP. I have worked with various RS & GIS leading packages, operating systems and programming languages.
